In late April 2013 there was a large fire at the Sonora apartment complex that left very little for many families and people to go back to. In about 4 days I put together a small concert with the help of The Town Of Stony Plain who let us use their outdoor stage in Heritage Park. Music Center Canada in Spruce Grove helped out by Donating the use of Sound equipment and gear. I was joined by a few others to play some music that early afternoon. Local Singer and music teacher Jenesia Dawn was second on the bill followed by the Rising country stars The Command Sisters, then the finishing act Rend former Soninc 102.9 fm band of the month for April knocked it home with some great music. The local paper The Stony Plain Reporter helped with making mention in a nice little write up both before teh show and after. All in all for only having 4 days to plan and roll it out the group of artists managed to help out with a total donation of just over $450 that went into the fund set up by the ATB bank .
